Hi, permission to reupload this? Doesn't work for Spaced Out atm. Though right now I'm mostly looking at the morale/decor changes.

You could also re-balance some of the materials, for example giving some intermediate values of "overheat temperature increase" like copper ore +25, or obsidian +50... would be great

I think nerfing morale gain from nature reserves and parks is unnecessary given they only give morale for 0.4 cycles and require quite a lot of head scratching for good placement.

I really enjoy most of the changes you've made, but some I would rather not use. It'd be awesome if you could include the option to pick and choose, maybe even adjust, the changes your mod adds.

Overall, still liking the changes from this. Haven't run into any problems I could trace to this mod since the update (a few odd crab-related incidents, but nothing here). Lots of things just feel better to use, though as I thought I've been a bit hesitant on pumping large numbers of skills into space-bound dupes (or skillscrubbing prior). Running atmosuits feels more of a cost, as well - either actually taking the movement penalty, or needing to work more (or wait later to be more established) to support the skill to remove it for those who don't have an interest.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I obviously haven't been super active on this mod lately, but with the new update, I should probably make sure it isn't broken at least. I also have some unpushed changes, apparently.

@Lini Cooked Fish morale wasn't changed btw. An abyssallite to sand recipe would probably be something I'd add in a separate mod You might consider checking out the rock tumbler mod (I think that's what it's called)

-While the automated version may be better mechanically, losing out on the dupes joyfully jumping on the sludge press is too great a cost, I feel. Clearly, it should be the shorter time and a small, short-lasting stress reducer.
-abyssalite to sand recipe in the rock crusher please, so one can actually DO something with it to get rid of it outside of lategame things bottlenecked by other materials

-In regards to starvation ranching, the two that can maintain populations while starving (IIRC) are pacu and shove voles...who are also the two types of critters who don't really have any other utility other than as food. Dreckos for sheering, but they don't maintain and you get as much food as if you'd drowned them on hatching, just delayed for resources. While pacu have radiation resistance from their flesh, shove voles should get something out of being ranched if they're changed, I think. Maybe give them some product to produce, maybe change pacu to not be starve ranchable but voles can?

Hadn't seen that there were more in-depth explanations when I made my prior comment, woops. Though I was mostly right, and there's a lot of sensible reasoning in there. A few thoughts:
-I don't think making a fridge or ration box a requirement for a great hall will do much (it can just be empty, after all, simply taking up space, unless that's the point), though if making all buildings powered/enabled a requirement is possible that's a good change.
-Turning the Ore Scrubber into a Water Scrubber for those who like to decontaminate their water and want a simple solution at least gives it a minor purpose, instead of no real purpose.
-Ice-E Fan is a weird thing, because if you have ice you might as well just throw down an ice tempshift plate and then mop it up. Maybe it can just use water? Only dupe labor? Not necessarily at the same numbers as now.

An interesting set of changes. As has been noted, it seems focused on bringing the options that are considered the best down a notch while pulling up the worst in similar categories up to par, or at least attempting to (would need to play with it to see for certain, of course.)
While the morale-related changes seem a bit much at first glance (other than the bedroom and hall/greathall changes, those are warranted regardless), I'm assuming the reasoning for them is to encourage the use of the recreational items they added a while back like the hot tub and whatnot - it's always been fairly easy to keep the dupes' morale fairly high with just a few things, from my experience. Of course, that's only really applicable for stay-at-home dupes - any sent on rocket missions will have a much rougher time with these changes. I think I'll try them though, see how they go.

Some of the changes are interesting (dispenser for example), but others.....ehhhhh

The morale change is just ridiculous. You'll need to consider that there are only 3 quatly 3 food in the game (berry sludge, BBQ, fish) , everything better requires natural gas so its late game only. Combined with great hall and nature reserve nerf, we are talking about loosing 2+3+6 =11 morale in the mid game, I just can't see how this would be fair.

The algae terrarium change is a nerf - you don't actually expect it to make oxygen directly, you use it to create polluted water and convert the off-gas for normal oxygen and clay.

On the other hand thermal regulator became absolutely broken, the primary advantage of thermal regulator is its nearly unlimited temperature range, by making it comparable to aquatuner you simply won't need aquatuner, ever. You'll get all sorts of things like early game sour-gas boiler or LO2 rocket, all without the need of super-coolant.

i personally like how it makes the "meta" options of producing power/oxy/food/morale less viable, and makes the downright unuseable (ethanol distillery, wood burner) actually useable.

some of the changes i like, some i dislike, would be nice to have an options menu where we can set to game default and then change some of the settings. a few other mods like customize buildings works this way, but not sure how tough it is to do.

A lot of work. 2 thumbs up for that. But I see no reason to use it. Most changes make the game harder with silly changes.

Silly changes doesn't make the game more fun.
