Hey Mod maker, if you are still around, can you make this mod work by having plagues cause the given effects? Like a plague rolls through so bad it annihilates the county? And maybe . . . the world as a whole?

Hey, could you add an option to repair a ruined holding? I played a campaign as a mongol ruler, never got to choose between wanting to destroy or not, so the only option I could take was to annihilate holdings I raided and conquered. So with those destroyed holdings I fundamentally couldn't do anything. The campaign went on from 867 to about 910 before I abandoned it because none of those ruined holdings ever got repaired, which was frustrating.There is also no indication whatsoever what "automatically after some time" means and I'm not going to wait another 20-ish years (so essentially waiting for 40+ years) just for one holding to be repaired.

I'd suggest either just making it a shorter time period of a ruined holding getting repaired, the option to rebuild it instantly, and/or an option to send migrants to the ruined holding so it'll slowly convert to the migrant's culture, religion and throughout that gets rebuilt

@Nibbes sorry for the late reply, did not get a notification. I agree that there should be an option to do a milder sacking. Currently no way of rebuilding right away, this happens automatically after some time. Should probably implement an option.

I'm having a little trouble understanding this statement: "However, you will gain major opinion penalties with all realm rulers and neighboring realm rulers of the affected county. They will also get a casus belli on you."

So is it just the neighbors of the affected county, or absolutely everyone that gets a casus belli on me? Because I'm not going to be using this if it unites the entire world in a war against me.

How do you rebuild ruins and destroyed holdings right away? I see in discussion on the workshop saying you can but nothing in game itself for that? Am I missing something?

Also, can you reduce the stress modifiers for not burning down holdings? Maybe add third option to just "pillage" holding which removes all buildings and half the development of the county?

burning a settlement to the ground should make it much easier to convert the culture and faith in the area for a time since much of the old population was killed or fled. would make burning stuff to the ground have another benefit besides money gain.

a cool addition would be if your vassals who burned settlements in inter realm wars could be rightfully imprisoned depending on your faith or government type, since the only way I can answer to my vassals literally burning the realm to the ground is by asking them to make peace, which they will often refuse. also, destroyers of civilisation should probably give a large men at arms cost reduction, and knight recruitment cost reduction, since if your culture's defining feature is its willingness to burn places to the ground, more people are willing to serve as professional soldiers at a lower cost. a prowess boost and making commander traits, martial education traits and traits like wrathful give a same culture opinion boost and maybe other bonuses would be cool. also burning other people's stuff to the ground should give a rightful imprisonment reason to the victim, so that you can duel them and imprison them.

would be cool if there were added bonuses for raising a holy site of another faith to the ground. like if I burn jeruselum than that should give more of a penalty on relations and more glory to myself than burning another large city

@drjimothy went through the code and couldn't find any reasons why it shouldn't work with custom governments. The only requirements to get the tradition is to not have reached early medieval age. Think it should work fine. Did you try it with governments+?

This makes tribals way more fun and a good way to sink some time during an 867 start. I went from 5 development in Nidaross, Norway to 100 on one character because Annhiliation is really strong. (Not saying nerf it, I absolutely love making 1 county really OP). Great Job! I'm loving the work you're doing for the game!
