crazy idea for a mod
having a mod that adds 2 options to jump drives
change animation and change audio
now could then have ALL the different animations and sound effects going on at the same time

I await the day to see a Warhammer 40k style jump

Newgmodgamer it does exist on the Workshop. I tried both, with one is the best :)

@JWickScari Any mod that references the vanilla particles should have these effects if this mod is higher in the load order on the world.

How can I add these effects to the hyperdrive mod or will it automatically apply to it as well?

I can confirm it's working. It's overwriting the Prototech one. My Prototech version is like a blend of the purple one and the vanilla version; teal with gold beams shooting out. Try it with and without the mod.

no this Mod only effects the old vanilla Jumpdrive as far as I can tell

Never Mind ... works already as i want it ... I thought it would also overwrite the new effect of the Prototech JD

@dRuPpI There's a different particle for Prototech. I can split it into it's own mod though.

will this now effect normal JD & Prototech JD? Would prefer it only for normal JD

with the upcoming new dlc come the small grid Jump engine and it personal jump effect ... will this mod also override the SB jump effect ?

considering that that the dlc now have 2 jump effect from vanilla would it be possible to have the option to keep keep this jump effect for LG and the DLC on for the SG??

If you have an jump audio replacer, does it go above or below this mod?

Sigma Draconis used it in their Deadspace cluster, so its probably fine, I'd still wait for a direct answer from the author, just to be safe.

Won't appear if you forget to turn off sli should you be running an sli bridge for the game as I had forgotten it was an issue. It would be nice if the effects could time according to sim speed during drops or so... beautiful effect at any rate I have always liked it far better than the native effects.

Problem solved...yay. I run plugins, one of them I had running is a particle reduction. I had forgotten it was even there.

@black_dragon1230 Nope, it's working. Try it in a world with no other mods. Even when it's at the top of the list you're not seeing the particle? One of the other mods must be doing something to jump drives.

So I recently added this to my new world( havent used it for a while) and im getting the sound effect but the visual effect wont work. I tried to switch the load order of the mod but still isnt working. Is the mod having issues since the updates?

I don't suppose you'd be willing to look into adding this to PluginLoader? I absolutely adore these effects, and would love to be able to use them on any server regardless if it's installed on it or not.

Yep TY, dat fixed it moved it all the way 2 the top and it worked perfectly paired with "Hyperspace Jump (Homeworld)". ^w^
(Got rid of the "Star Trek Jump Drive Lines" because it feels a bit off. X3 )

This mod is only swapping the particle and the audio for the jump. It should be largely compatible with any other mods. I don't know what those are mods are doing, so it's possible there's a blocker on that end. Anything referencing vanilla jumps should be fine though. Mod load order could also impact things, so if you want this to take priority move it higher in your mod list.

question would it be possible to actualy not replace all drives effect but create jump drive that uses this effect instead of base one as such making it possible for diferent factions using diferent jump animations
