The Ruf Yellowbird should have a blank rear panel. A Ruf is NOT a Porsche. At the very beginning, they were modified cars with Porsche VIN numbers.(Well before Yellowbird) Shortly after beginning Porsche and the German governing body, decided that Ruf did so many modifications, Ruf was classified as a automobile manufacturer and given their own VIN numbers. They wanted to relief Porsche any type of liability to the safety of the car, and put it into the hands of those who modified and sold it. After this Porsche would send un VIN'ed cars to Ruf. Ruf would do their thing and then put their VIN on it. As time as moved on, Porsche sends very little to Ruf. Ruf manufactures pretty much everything now. including the bodies. While they may look like a Porsche they are far from it, and not the same vehicle in any stretch other than look.
just wanted to let you know this mod is really good!
But theres one problem, i cant get a mirror on the right side, doesnt matter which door or which mirror.
But still really good!
However there are accesories that I miss like Singer decklid and bumpers as well as fender mounted mirrors
Still though, one of the best mods in the workshop thus far
