I am also having the same issue with only treasure bags and master items having the new effect and expert items have no effect at all, they are just brown/grey.

It is working fine, I downloaded it with over 40 mods and around 30 Texture Packs running, absolutely no issues - Relics (also ones from other Mods) - Worm Scarf - Shield of Cthulhu, etc. are all working.

I got the same problem as the Throughout guy. All master mode items work, and all treasure bags work, even modded ones, and yet the expert items themselves like Shield of Cthulhu or Spore Sac or etc don't work. Not only that though, the mod breaks it even further to make it just a normal singular color like a normal item.
