it would be awesome if you could port the Thrones UI mod to MK1212 or atleast copy the dark ui freature from the Thrones UI mod to your mod.

Would you consider creating a mod that adds visual, colored icons to the diplomacy panel, right next to the text entries? Currently, that panel is only text-based, and having clear, color-coded icons would make it much more intuitive and easier to read.

I actually tried to implement something like this myself, but I found that the diplomacy_hud file appears to be a compiled binary, and I couldn't find a way to edit its content or access the raw UI XML files.

I think it would be a very useful addition. If you're not able to take on this project yourself, perhaps you could offer some advice on how to approach modifying these UI files, or if there's a specific tool I might have missed?

Thanks for considering!

Nice work. It would be cool if you could replace the entire Attila UI. Looking forward to your updates.

@Bulla Ice Cream Making a faction wide military upgrade mod is ALLOT harder then making a UI mod such as this... Not that I'm saying dnfdn doesn't have the skill to make such a mod, but asking someone to make such a mod is a BIG thing to ask. Perhaps you should look into learning how to make such a mod for yourself?

Any chance to get a mark of the previous kings in your family tree? It would be nice to see who else was the king / basileus etc. in your family tree history. Something like a "grey crown" symbol etc

Question, will you redo all the icons for attila? Or only the ones used in MK1212 mod?
Alex the Great 13. feb. 2022 kl. 8:40
Wow this is superb! Makes 1212 mod feel more vibrant with all these new icons.

Great. Thanks. Though i would suggest to change the green (picture 3) and red colors.. Maybe keep it more 1212AD colour style. More brown.. darker colors etc.

I noticed it too, I'll try to come up with something.

Very good mod. But it is hard to see if some icons are enabled or disabled. specific in battlescreen. Could you change this? Maybe a golden ring around when enabled???

Nice mod, I have two critiques. I think most people will agree that the bright green color for army strength does not fit the theme of the UI. Perhaps you could simply restore it to the vanilla golden color. Or some other, deep and darker color. I also think the new skull sanitation icon is a bit too dark. I think making it lighter will make it easier to see if sanitation is red or green, and also make it more recognisable as a skull, rather than a black face.
