@TheIndian_07 most modern tanks prioritize protection in the front, the side armor is only enough to stop auto cannon fire, and on this specific tank the ERA brick at the front stop chemical warheads, and the bar armor at the back helps to stop chemical rounds aswell. APFSDS will go clean through the side

the back and side armor are extremely vulnerable to AP shots, @theindian_07.
this reflects most soviet tank designs, the front should always face the enemy or you should go hulldown.

The armour seems to be... below average? Your previously released FSV can easily destroy it with one hit in the back, or 2 in the front.
