@Spectre-1 Pretty much, you're allowed to use the likeness of guns but not the actual name, that's why Valve called it the "Chrome Shotgun" so they wouldn't have to pay royalties to use the name.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to actually comment on the mod I commissioned, but that's because I've been having too much fun with it. I am absolutely blown away by it and it's just perfect for me.

I've spent months looking for a good Marine Magnum shotgun mod that's actually nickel coloured instead of grey. Thank you so much for taking my commission and finally making it a reality! If I ever need any other guns made in the future I'll definitely pay you again ^_^

@Sandi Griffin Didnt they also just rename it chrome shotgun to avoid the licensing issues ?

The Chrome shotgun from L4D2 is modeled after the Remington 870 Marine Magnum mdoel shotgun
