Does this include the actual reanimation mod too; or just a compatibility patch to make the reanimation mod work alongside the MBWS sound mod? Thanks

@Kreze, originally it wasnt working for me, however after digging around, I found how to extract the VPK files (first time getting into source modding). Thank you for your comment and tutorial on how to use GCFScape

I figured out what was going on. Here is a rundown:

To anyone with problems with audio working, or unsynced audio, you need to move all of your subscriptions that are in use to the "custom" folder. Do not copy and paste, simply drag and drop. Also unsubscribe to everything that is in use once you move everything to the custom folder.

If anything is left in the workshop addon folder, for example a leftover vpk file or cache file in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\2712463359, it may cause conflicts.

What happened to me is I had the IIopin weapon pack installed in the custom folder, while it was also in the steam addon folder. This confused the game.

TLDR: Delete everything in the steam workshop folder for Black Mesa after moving addons to the BMS custom folder.

Did you try to unpack the .vpk file? Like, make a folder inside the custom folder with your desired name, unpacking the vpk inside of it? https://youtu.be/ObGigmLeFYE here's a tutorial, same process should be applied.

I just found out why, for future reference for everyone, you gotta have the patch load BEFORE the main mod. So you should rename the actual VPK to ensure it loads first in your custom folder

I tried this and it works for the most part but the Glock and .357 reloads are a bit unsynced towards the end. I had to reinstall all my mods after I accidentally deleted them and I did add them to my custom folder manually.

I dont see any difference between "patched" and "unpatched" version, full glock reload and 357 reload still feel little unsynced

I've noticed that although this patch fixes most of the sounds, the .357 reload and the Tau Cannon inspect are still off time

If you're using IIopn's animations, then you need to be subbed to 𝗠𝗕𝗪𝗦 𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝐈𝐈 and [IIopn Patch]. If you're using the original weapon animations, then just 𝗠𝗕𝗪𝗦 𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝐈𝐈.

Weird because i based it off V2 animations, and should work like the ones in the video.
Install MBWS first, IIopn Patch second.

I got MBWS ACT 2 installed but then i tried to deinstall all other mods and than reinstall them and i now can hear the sound. Maybe something was just buggy.

I used a sound editing program to edit the audio files to properly sync with the weapons in the Thanez pack. For the crossbow, I remember literally splitting and stretching the pull back sound.

You're gonna have a problem with the crossbow, since for some reason pull sounds play right after shooting, so you'll have to add an delay to the sound itself. This issue is only found on the Thanez Pack crossbow, the regular crossbow by IIopn doesn't have this issue.
