It's not that it's not easy to upload DLLs to the Workshop. It's that it's impossible because the game has a whitelist of items allowed and DLL isn't one of those. DLLs have security and stability concerns, which is why those aren't whitelisted. The DLLs exist for performance reasons or this addon will run orders of magnitude slower than how it is currently and will likely consume more memory.

I mean come on, they cant put the addon on the workshop. Did you even give the github a try? All it is a gwater installer exe! You dont have to do some complicated modifying to your game..

And even if that was the case there is a reason its on github, it cant be just easily be uploaded to the workshop. Maybe in the future but now its not currently a doable thing.
