With your permission, could I make a standalone mod for the gem cores and related content? They feel like an incredible concept and I had some ideas I wanted to try, and would like to have a dedicated mod for them to make things easier, as well as having a version of them that works on the current TML version

This may not be the place to ask but: what happened with the Aequus mod? I cannot seem to find it and its getting flagged for being builts for a previous version of tModLoader and can't enable it

I am unable to open the Omega chest. And the Genesis and Ragnarok can only be upgraded once.

After looking at my localization file I realized I somehow switched the Virtuous Dagger and Sinful Armament tooltips, sorry for the incontinence!

you must make a Virtuous Dagger to remove your current soul. And if you want to switch to a different soul you'd need to make two, one for the current soul and one for the resulting "pure soul".

So I've started a new world and character and this time I chose the Gluttony soul. I've decided I hate starving lol I figured after the wall of flesh, which drops a sinful soul and something that says it cleanses your soul of sin, I'd be able to switch. This doesn't seem to be the case, the Sinful Armament just gave me a spear and making a new soul and trying to use it does nothing.

There must be a way to switch, right? Because it gives a sinful soul. Help?

Also yes, the Soul Crystal system is very buggy, it is a known issue I'm trying to solve. For now just use godmode to remove everything and cheat in your previous loadout.

I am. After reading this message, I tried turning it off, then restarting the game just in case. Then I went to the ocean and used an item to change the day to night a few times. It was still happening.

Also, I found upon entering the game today, my power was set to brain of cthulu, which I did not do. I still have the soul crystal and everything. I made the extraction dagger to remove it, which it did, then I did it again because I forgot what I was using before. It gave me a plantera soul shard, who I havent fought with this character or in this world. I did it again and it gave me duke fishron, who I also havent fought. Then moon lord lol I assume thats not normal?

Sorry, me again. I'm having an issue where The Atherian NPC's keep arriving and leaving at the same moment, over and over again. This happened until night, then they stopped showing up. But upon exiting the game and playing again later, it started happening again.

Check Fargo's Mutant config, it is classified as a debuff so fargo's makes it appear over the player's head

Is there an option to disable the square over the character after using the soul? It's completely unnecessary and blocks things behind it.

Ace, please remove all your demonstration videos from the mod's source files, it's being compiled into the mod AND MASSIVELY bloating its filesize. TMOD will compile all files (unless excluded in the build.txt file) into the tmod file, even if they aren't being actively used.

I'm pretty sure this isn't intentional but a terraria mod being over 1 gb is insane.

from what i played, it makes you kind of op early game, i easily got 150 fucking armor with summoner items on me that makes the game trivial early, with greed soul or whatever is called, i will have to disable it because it's not fun being unkillable in master mode
