@Doroshnya Terraria seems to load sprites from texture packs during runtime, which causes that to happen (most often) in multiplayer scenarios when you, one way or another, load an item that has not been loaded yet, while you're tabbed out. But essentially, any time you're tabbed out and receive an item that hasn't been loaded yet, it'll be temporarily invisible until you reload the pack.

Polaris version 2.1 is out now, adding King Slime and his drops, slime blocks and furniture, ropes, The Bee's Knees, and some tweaks to health & mana UI. The pack is also significantly more optimized, having losslessly compressed about half the filesize.

Of course, that's why I suggested to swap packs only during world loading. You also could try to add certain triggers for guaranteed swap on next load, like winter swap after beating Snow legion or Autumn after Harvest moon.

@TwinIndifferent that's definitely an interesting idea, I'm not sure if I can enable or disable packs through tmod but I'll consider looking into that eventually. I could base it off PC date or something.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be possible for it to work like the overhaul seasons changing based on ingame days passed though, in that packs probably can't be reloaded during gameplay.
