Hi, would it be possible to only enable the ambient sound? (Zombie sounds in the distance) instead of all sounds listed?

What I noticed is that on the loading screen the ambient sound and all the others work, and when opening the world they disappear

I hope CrazyTv can solve it, because it did something incredible by bringing this lonely and traumatizing ambient sound, not to mention how nostalgic it is, I want to immerse myself in the game with this

@rogdar07 right click the game on Library > Properties... > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
Steam will scan your game files and replace everything that you manually changed back to its original files.

Hey I really like this mod, but I was thinking what would really make this mod great is male AND female zombie sounds. Let us know if that's possible >_>

I just activated the mod and followed the instructions, I could hear the sounds just fine. It seems some actions may not have sounds attached but it works.
I think the author mentioned they may update this later after a later updoot

i followed the instructions of this mod but with this mod the weapons have no sounds.

I have to redo this mod again, when the new version comes out, I'll try to update it

after installing the mod, zombies do not make any sounds. Also there are no sounds of crows, doors and so on(

Everybody will have to do those steps. When you replace files in your own game, the effect is client side, not server side.

If there are a few other people who want the mod, maybe you can get everybody into the discord call and walk them through it step-by-step. That's what I had to do for my less "computer-familiar" friends.

Keep in mind though that this mod isn't currently 100% up-to-date as some new vanilla zombie sounds were added that this mod doesn't currently override.

dumb question- will everyone on MP have to do 1st/2nd steps? or just me (the host)?

Time to reawaken my childhood nightmares.

I noticed there were some more new zombie sounds, I'm working on the fix now

i'm confusing it with the other music mod i think. I thought this mod added the menu sounds. maybe the other mod does that. because i just checked and the zombies are making the right sounds
