@WaffleKing It is for sure op, I've personally reduced the values by about half on most skills for my game. The main issue is that these act like if you are summoning a gun, it costs psyfocus once, then only adds heat until the target is dead. also its blunt damage so its damage is better then its numbers compared to guns.

I was able to 2 shot rip arms and legs off 9/10 on my marine armored colonists with medium slugs.

damage and cost is done in xml so its fairly simple to adjust to your liking

ngl, this mod seems, a tad bit op. Though I've only tested with it on a dev world. How rare/expensive are the psylearners for these psycasts? Its semi-balanced only given leveling up psycasts cause you get random ones, but the psylearners should get a cost boost, if they don't already. Also could be more balanced if they just costed more psy-focus. Cause a medium psychic slug on even a person in flak armor will tear off their limbs.

What would I need to edit in order to make the choke tick slower/take longer to reach max lethality

also the brain explode does indeed not seem to work with VPE on 1.6

@Oscar , Yes they can, but they also work very well as support psy people, like Medics, Covert Ops or Shrinks as well as Ressource (s)pawns

It seems like brain exploder is incredibly buggy, It does not work on Warcaskets, and is incredibly finicky with application, sometimes just now effecting pawns

First of all, great mod!
Second of all, Brain Exploder doesn't seem to work for me. The psycast starts, it gets loaded, the cooldown reaches the end and then...nothing. The pawns are fine, the animals are fine.
Am i missing something? Or do i have a mod conflict of some sorts?

master, there is a question about the vanilla game and this mod. In version 1.4 ,we can use the same ability multiple times in queue when game paused, for instance, I can cast skip to multiple enemies when game paused via queue. But in version 1.5, I cast skip to one enemy and then the skip ability button shows "Disable : ability already in queued". That means I have to wait for the first skip to finish. This really annoying me. Is there any way to fix this? And a separate mod to solve the problem will be very pleasurable.

encountering an issue where i cannot force a pawn to fire on an object with their equipped weapon if i have any of the psycasts from this mod on auto-cast. it trips up the pawn's AI and causes them to immediately switch one of the casts from here, but they never fire it, nor do they fire their weapon.

so when I cast any psycast from this mod it doesn't shoot out the projectile after the bar completes the pawn can't use any abilities any reason why this is???

When playing with VPE, the Heavy Slug ability fires a medium slug instead. Looks like it's set to the wrong projectile.

is the grenade cast supposed to only have a spread of one tile? doesnt do a lot of damage nor is the blast all that large

When an enemy psycaster start choking your pawn and get interrupted the "psychic choke" hediff on the pawn stay forever and need a healer mech serum to get removed, is it intended ? Would it be possible to allow the pawn to heal over time ? I'm using vanilla psycast expanded and their story teller that add lots of psycasters in the game... ^^'

Question, what does "drain" mean on Heat? Does it mean it consumes Neural Heat during the process whilst active?

After some tests with the minimum of mod ( harmony, core + all dlc, character editor (to edit the pawns for the tests), VEF, VPE and finally Combat Psycasts

the "kinecticist" tree does not appear in the list on the VEP choice window.

with the addition of the mod "Choice Of Psycasts" to the previous list by the latter one can choose "light psychic slug" but still no "kinecticist" tree in VPE window.

I looked at the date of the updates, it appears that VEF was updated after your mod, maybe the problem comes from there ?

in short, the compatibility with VPE does not seem to work anymore

The Tree kinecticist not showing in the list of "Vanilla Psycasts Expanded" when i take my first rang of psycaster (with anima tree, i play tribal) i can see of the 15 tree of VPE but not the tree of this mod.

i miss something ?
