Currently broken and needs an update. Really hope this creator or someone else comes out with one!

Has anyone found an alternate to this? It's crazy such a seemingly small mod can be so glaringly missed. I've been trying to pin all the kids in my court so I can watch when they hit certain age thresholds, but it just isn't the same. I also looked in the core game notifications and the only thing I can find is when a Dynasty member turns 16, which helps but that's still only about 1/4 what this mod did.

This is one of those mods that despite the game going through tons of patches, it always still worked without needing an update. But unfortunately it now seems to have broken.

I just reinstalled the game, I forgot all about this mod. I was so confused why I wasn't getting notified about courtiers. Feel like this should be a default feature haha

Actually, the content in the link is exactly the same as the discussion section, there's no missing translation. I just copied it and imported it into the yml file.

The decision was working, I just wasn't getting the pop-up notifications for when a child was born/6/16. But it's working now after the update. It was just the news feed portion that wasn't notifying. Thanks!

@Vice Hi, I tested with mod version 1.1 and now with 1.2 (update to game version 1.6) and both times it did work. Does the decision actually show up in your decision menu on the right side as "Courtier's Child Care"? If so, maybe it helps to just take the decision again, so the variables get set. If you switched character during game or happen to play with a different house than the one you started with, it's also necessary to retake the decision, because the variables are stored on the player's house.

If the decision is not showing up in the first place, then the mod is not loaded at all and you should probably try to delete it completely and resubscribe. Or maybe it conflicts with another mod, but I don't really see how that could be possible. Hope it will work for you!

I have found the error: In the German localization, the plural "S" is missing in code lines 2 and 3 for "ccc_msg_courtierS_child....".

Hello, the mod is useful, thank you! Especially if you want to breed your courtiers... I mean, take care of them....
However, I have a bug for a long time: The messages appear with me (I play it in German) with the code text "ccc_msg_courtiers_child_can_Assign_guardin_tooltip" - although there is a German localization. Can you please fix this? Would be great :)
I looked at the code, but unfortunately didn't find a grudn for this strange behavior....
