Cause of the new UI changes, this totally destroys province UI in case anyone else was curious. took me a minute to figure out it was this mod from my collection :steamhappy:

I might update it once i got time, but till then i recommend using holding manager, or another mod who do the same.

Your mod disables the ability to see the holding modifiers effects, e.g. if a holding has + or - popular opinion modifier the icon is there but if you hover over with the mouse the text is missing. Just a minor bug, but thought to let you know.

"The AI has access to this do, but i have no idea if they actually replace buildings in Vanilla so i dont know if they will use it."

I've been using the CheatMenu to revoke land to replace buildings before this, and the AI has never replaced my buildings with theirs. So I'm confident the AI never replaces building - they only ever upgrade them :).

The mod contains only the file 'window_county_view.gui' and indeed it has been changed in 1.9 so update is required.
In the mean time you can do it yourself:
1. Find the original game file and copy it:
goto 'Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III\game\gui' folder. Right click and copy the file 'window_county_view.gui'.
2. Paste it at the mod folder:
goto the mod folder at 'Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2669789674\gui'. Paste it here and overwrite the outdated mod file.
3. Edit that pasted file (at the mod folder, dont edit at the original game files) with the instructions the modder showed above:
replace line 2425:
visible = "[And(GUITrackItem.IsCurrentBuildingSelected, GUITrackItem.CanReplaceOrCancel)]"
with
visible = "[GUITrackItem.IsCurrentBuildingSelected]"
4. Save edited file.
5. Profit.

Did you enable it in the game rule ? Im not sure what the default rule is, so if you add it midgame it might cause not work, sorry. You will have to edit your save to enable the game rule, or wait that i update the compatibility patch. Ill try to do it today or tomorrow.

Yea with Holding Manager you no longer need this mod, cause it got integrated.

@Drago Duval I wasn't thinking through LOL I didn't know AI would cancel too and didn't know cancelling AI's building would steal its gold too so...Seems the mod is all good as it is. Btw hope you've gotten better already.

Yea no i remember why i did not remove the check for cancelling buildings. I remember the AI cancelling my buildings even when i was the liege, so yea.

I'll be the one person to say that I like the way how it currently works. Being able to cancel construction leads to an old bug that PDX fixed where you would get the gold even if the vassal was the one who started the construction. Stealing gold from your vassals is funny but it seems like a hassle when everyone is using this mod in multiplayer.

O ill look into it. I havent modded in a while so i admit that mistakes can easily hapen. Plus i wenty from a pneumonia to covid in less than a month, so i admit that i dont even remember doing this update.

Well it partially works for me. I can replace any of the existing buildings but I can not cancel/replace the ones that are under construction. I mean honestly it doesn't really affect that much but sometimes typically in early-mid game if AI are constructing a building you don't want you may need to wait 3 or 5 years until it's replaceable again so under such scenario it can be annoying. Again it's not like it's a big issue though would be nice to get a fix. AND ALWAYS thanks for the mod!

I wont lie, im in the middle of a bad IRL situation, and even if i had the mental energy to do a compatiblity patch, i can barely access my computer right now.

Yea i had to reput the check for cancelling, cause the AI was abusing it. If i build something in my vassal territory, they cancelled it and kept the money. If i build something in my territory and was a vassal, my liege cancelled it again. Hell i was a single province independent and it kept getting cancelled by my city vassal, who was getting rich doing it.
