I'm not sure about how phonemes work in SFM but I know that HL2 style automatic lipsync is still possible and already setup for HLA models. It's the same steps as adding custom lipsync to HL2 with faceposer and then just using that .wav file for Source 2 (you might have to record the game through SFM to be able to use it)

Export phenomene will work on this model for automatic lipsync using audio like in S1FM? In S2FM it seems every model requires manual rigging no so quick workaround like in S1FM HL2 FACS.

It's "enhanced" only because of the hair mesh fix. Mostly, this is meant for having the complete content files so you can edit anything from the materials to the model itself.

The biggest use you'll find out of it is disabling shadows on the hair mesh if it isn't looking good (and if it doesn't completely disable the shadows on the entire model because Source 2 likes to be fun like that.) Also useful for changing the glasses material because it can still occasionally sort transparency incorrectly.

Again, I never bothered recreating the content files for Alyx's model because it didn't need any small model edits (it would be difficult for me to fix all of her character face flexes.)
This addon only includes texture and material fixes for her which you should be able to decompile using SourceIO and VRF if you need to do any material edits.
If you really do actually need my source textures or really need Alyx's model recreated then feel free to add me.

I never bothered recreating the content files for Alyx but it wouldn't be hard for me to do. You should be able to decompile the textures from the addon using SourceIO or VRF.
If you really need my source textures or really need Alyx's model recreated then feel free to add me.

Obviously not. You should first create an addon with the workshop tools launcher with any name of your choosing then follow the steps above replacing " *addon_name* " with the name you used when creating the addon. You'll know that it's working if you can see the materials tagged as being overriden.

A VPK is essentially a compressed zip file. To extract the contents of a VPK you'll need software such as "GCFScape." You will want to be using GCFScape and extracting here

Because you have to extract the vpk to your addon's game folder. VPKs are only loaded by the game as addons

Glasses now use the "vr_glass" shader which should both look better and prevent that bug from occurring at all. Please check that you have installed this workshop submission to your tools addon so that it is actually used in your SFM

I tested this in SFM and that shadow bug appeared (weird because it didn't before) After changing the glasses lens material with the exact same settings the bug was fixed for some reason even after restarting the game.

Could you check if that bug appears in the workshop version?

I'm not sure what you specifically mean but you can see that I've fixed the shadows from the AO texture

Alright, I gave in and did it. I'll upload the Alyx fix as an update to this addon.

I cleaned the texture and fixed the banding. There was also no degradation from reducing the size to 4k since it seems that Valve just enlarged the texture to 8k to blend their broken AO map. I actually forgot how bad vanilla Alyx looks when making a comparison SFM
