I searched the entirety of Rosewood in every single house, garage, store, and shed. I couldn't find a single magazine, even drove outside the city to some places and couldn't even find one then and found a machete before the magazine. I thank you for this mod.

after find 0 magazine in half the whole map including 5 book store and several school, i find you, the greatest mod forever.

Thanks for the mod. IT worked for me today. After searching quite some time in Riverside, i was kind of frustrated, so i searched for a mod and found this one. After skilling electricity just below level 3, i installed the mod. After hitting level 3 my character said something like "Now i know this manual is for generators" and the manuel was in my inventory. I read it and afterwarts i could connect the generator.

I hope in the future it will be possible to connect a generator once you reached a certain skill level in electricity or that the manual is attached to the generator, like some peaple allready wrote here.

ohhh god thank god this mod exists, i search whole riverside EVERY LOCATION WITH BOOKSHELFS, EVERY HOUSE, EVERY MAILBOX AND ALSO checked the modded map trelai [early game louiseville] drove trough that hell to ekron didn't have it either, went to westpoint died multible times, many saves. but then my brain actived this godlike mod and it was the mercy of irl my mental health. I don't understand why even need the skill. A generator is pretty self explanatory. In fact, it has instructions on the side. Even if it didn't, it just takes a little bit of troubleshooting to figure it out.

I wish PZ would expand on the generator logic. Zero skill needed to plug in the fridge, much skill needed to wire the generator to the house so the lights work. Heck, a "Large Generator" item that is used to power a whole house/base while the current generator would be an early/mid game stopgap to keep the damn bacon from rotting until they add pigs.

I have a library's worth of skill books but no generator manual. The RNG is nuts. Why did they make such an essential skill book so rare? I should have like 10 of them by now. There should be a generator shop full of them.

I'm surprised this isn't in the game already. It's not like most generators in real life come with instructions ON THE SIDE OF THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GENERATOR. I don't think it's possible to ♥♥♥♥ up running a generator if you know how electricity flows (It just MIGHT be possible to ♥♥♥♥ up running a generator if you don't know how electricity works). So in conclusion, I cannot thank you enough for making this mod lol

I personally think, lvl 3 is a bit to early. On the other hand, the idea of this mod is great.

Elec skill should make you be able to use gens at a certain lvl.
Like Foraging or Farming, maybe both, should enable you to be an "Herbalist".

adres4t , I like your idea. I made this mod because I was frustrated looking for that one magazine. But yes, I can do this with other magazines, not just electrical.

Good idea that will make electric skill useful and give a reason to grind it. I think that would work with other magazines as well - you get better and gain new recipes; makeshift radio recipe could come from X number of disassembled radios experience as a bonus - as an example.
