Awesome tactic has worked for me across all teams whether lower league or premier, Play around with individual player instructions eg full backs hold or overlap same with your cm's. I used this as a base then had 2 variations plus a 4-4-2 and unlocked alot of achievements. Cheers Rob really helped a fellow casual gamer enjoy the game more :)

This formation does not work for me. I'm with AC Milan and always got scored by counter attacks all the time (even really bad bad teams). I've try it 5 times in a row against Catania (0-3) and Genoa (0-2).

I just test the most popular FM Tactics with a database I have created.

rtyzack, they are not preset and I dont like AM to do them either, I actually just dont bother. To be honest i dont go in to anywhere near as much detail as most in most areas. I am just a casual gamer but really struggled when this new FM came out but then played around and found this tactic worked majority of the time so thats why I put it on here to try help others. I imagine the better Managers out there probably find this tactic very basic and probably have more success in their own way.

Very good tactic. Only changed one of my full backs to defend just to sure things up a bit, plus messed around with corner set up as i was losing alot of goals via that.

Great fun formattion. Struggling all season as Fulham and beat Spurs 4-3 the first time I used this formation. More pleasing was the fact my team actually played well for once and looked dangerous! Highly recommended. Thank you Rob!!

Why cant we download it?

Used in the custom challenege 'World cup fever' as England and actually won.. I was suprised too! Played Germany, Costa rica, Tunisia in the groups and Croatia, Spain and Germany again and only lost against Germany in the groups.

Birdy, It started off as a 4-3-3 and then I adapted it and havent changed the info

Click on the subscribe button, launch FM14, load your saved game and go to 'FM' then 'Downloads', click on 'Steam Workshop' and you'll see a list of subscribed files for FM14. This one is '4-3-3 Arsenal14'. Click on it, then the green install button, and it'll be downloaded to your tactics folder.

Why is this tactic advertised as a 4-3-3 when it is blatently a 4-2-3-1? Or has something gone wrong on my side?

can you describe a bit more your tactic? 4-3-3 looks pretty standard, but maybe you can share some snapshot of your tactic board. do you play with full backs or wingbacks? Defensive midfielder as anchor man? what about mental and roles?

Haven't tried the formation yet. Started playing the game last month and i am managing AC Milan. In must cases i shuffle my formation around from 4-4-2 to a different variety of formations that i play against each opponent.
