As stated above: "If both LWM's Deep Storage and Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Props and Decor are installed, bookshelves can now be built, which take 2 tiles and can store up to 30 books. (Without Props installed, a placeholder graphic is used.)"

Anyone have the issue where the bookshelf is just a box object that says "Bookshelf"

God damn, I came only looking for something better to store books and I found so much other stuff that I did not know I wanted. Perhaps if there also was something to link to the writing workshops to speed them up... Either way, this is a much needed addition that I feel like the guys should have included in the original

Literature meditation type please! "Fiction" books raise psyfocus when read depending on quality. Masterwork/legendary books can grant a first psylevel to the uninitiated. Maybe one time use scrolls that be used like shock lances/other equipbles for one time spell casts.

Ideo books can't convert?

@Dave I was having the same issue. Upon investigating the log, it seems like Bulk Stonecutting was interfering with making copies. I removed the mod, reloaded the save, and was able to copy books without issue.

When I copy a book it makes an image of a book but I cannot click on it. When I put the cursor over it it says 'copied book' on the left hand side but I cannot interact with it at all... any ideas?

Is it possible to make pawns read instead of them being idle? Maybe as a work priority?

I had to negate the production category tag for the writing desk and typewriter so pawns would stay in the library to read. Will this cause any issue with the mod in anyway?

Wonderful mod, thank you so much for making it. I did have a possible bug: I had a colonist close to 0% belief in a secondary ideology and wanted to convert them to a primary ideology after a conversion ritual, so I had them read a copy of a legendary ideology book from the primary ideology. The colonist got done to 0% and stayed at zero while reading, but did not convert. After dropping the book, their belief started to increase in the secondary ideology again. Is this a bug or is it a limitation of code?

@milk You can write books using the non-electric writing table without any industrial tech. It costs 75 cloth, 20 leather, and a LOT of time. With medieval tech only, this mod would only add the ideoligion book type and the bookshelf over what the base mod provides.

Hello, I really like the idea of the mod! I currently make Medieval modpack and want to add this mod, but looking at all this "industrial" stuff some question appears: can I make books without these mechanical stuff like in old times (with pen, paper and leather only)?

Does this have logic to stop a pawn with a high level of some skill from wasting time reading a book about that skill which is too low-quality to teach that pawn anything?
