I think the ingame display is wonky and displays the increase weirdly.

The mods description says the large gyro upgrade modules increase the power of the large gyro by 1.4x but build info says it increases it by "+140%" which should mean a 2.4x increase, which one is correct?

yes, though I think your gyros might get turned around 180°. Not sure if I fixed that.

What do you mean by that exactly? Generally, unless you can reproduce the issue in a world with only this mod, it's not going to be an issue with this mod. You most likely have other mods overriding block groups or something like that.

for some reason even if im in creative i cant get the large grid for the gyros, idk if its just the me and the combination of other mods, thanks for advice

Was wondering... are/would you consider making Prototech enhanced versions of these? Maybe downgrade the non-prototech versions slightly to make it worthwhile to switch out once you have access to the stuff...

yes. I just alter the default gyro's looks a little, so while that will be reverted, the block is the same.

So lets say I build a ship with this mod enabled, I use the regular gyroscopes. I do not use the upgrades nor the large gyroscope, so if pasted into another world without this mod, will the ship still have gyroscopes?

You can use the control panel on the top of the large gyro to align them. But ultimately alignment doesn't have any impact on performance.

As for the vanilla gyros - yes, I'm aware of this issue but hesitating to patch it because it was spotted so late and I'd revert all gyros in all saves of people using this mod if I fixed it.

Good day! is there an orientation to know where the "front" of the large gyro is? like with vanilla gyros the front is where the control panel is facing. On that note as well I've noticed that upon installing this mod, the vanilla gyro models have changed, and the control panels are now facing the rear of the gyro

Would it be possible to fix the mirroring of the large gyro upgrade modules? I tested it and it seems the sbc is missing the following lines that would go after line 34:

The weight of the small grid booster seems so excessive, it's not worth using. Unless I've got a bug. Would you consider lowering it?

Is the small grid Gyro booster supposed to weigh 3,380 Kg? That doesn't seem right. The large grid is just twice the weight of one gyro, at 12 tons.

As a matter of interest, do the effects of each upgrade for the large gyro compound as each upgrade is placed? What is the practical effect in numbers of a fully upgraded large gyro compared to the vanilla gyro?

I also want to report a small bug: the Gyro Upgrade module doesn't have proper mirroring setup, and is also missing it's build stages definitions (the models are there though).

Is there any chance you'd add a super-powered 3x3 gyro with, say, 100x the power of a normal gyro? There's an older ultra-gyro mod, but I'd trust your work more and would love to replace the old ones. This behemoth needs a ridiculous amount of gyros to rotate.
