many special characters such as ö do not exist in your files, so they either appear invisible or broken in TNO example "Gring's Germany" and Japan's faction having "?" in the middle of it

Looks awesome! Think it'd be great for a TNO save, but the geographic background and weather kinda ruins some of the visuals. I don't know what can be done about that, though, so I'll be glad with this!

1. Adjust the opacity so that the texture map will not reflect sunlight
2 Adjust the effect intensity of snow and mud to 0 in gfx\FX\constants.fxh
