Have you by chance restarted/reloaded the map? Even if you normally started the map, and at some point loaded the first autosave rather than restart the map from the menu?
It's custom made, so through scripting and map-logic. If you're on the Source 2 Modding Discord, I can provide a prefab for you.

If you haven't played the map - now is the time. If you were turned off by some of the bugs - like the car getting randomly stuck - it is now fixed and you can enjoy the map fully.
I have recorded my own playthrough, in case you weren't sure about trying this - you can also watch a playthough by Skummeh or λrokh.
If you've played the map, please consider giving it a like/dislike. Thank you.
Finally a drivable car and I like the idea of crafting stuff.
Was totally surprised by the enemy driving in a car and totally screwed up the car fight.

But because of the nature of this map it's hard to tell - you can fight the "boss" at any time, but what matters is how long you spend gathering supplies to get weapons or other upgrades, in order to have a better chance of winning that fight.
You will be able to imagine how I got it to work, because I will be releasing the prefab to the public, after I see some more playthroughs of my map + get more feedback in case there were any bugs. I'll put it out to the Source 2 Discord soon.
I would say this is the best time to try the map out or return to it!
Feel free to give it another go!
I'll definitely look into it and try to find a solution. What I think happens is, that the game thinks you're stuck in a prop and so basically teleports you away from the car to "unstuck you", but it's still a little stange it doesn't stop, because it should stop the second you leave the car. Either way, I'll try to fix it.
And yes, thanks for mentioning the other bug. I am aware of it and it's already fixed.
We can't update/fix the map until the judging is finished, so it will stay like this for a while.
But once it's finished, I'll immediately upload a patch that will hopefully take care of the problems you had.
Again, thanks for giving me feedback and have a nice day!
And feel free to revisit the map after these bugs are fixed.
Hey, sorry you had a bad experience with the map. If I understand it, the problem you encountered was clipping through the car?
If yes, how often did that happen? And if possible, did it happen only in some specific cases(for example after you moved while driving the car or after you looked around)?
I've seen few cases when the player clipped through, but those were still pretty rare - but would probably happen at least once or twice during the playtime. I have some theories as why it's happening, but I'm still not exactly sure, so any feedback on in what situation it happened would be appeciated.
