This is an odd one to mention but, the Republic of Ezo. It attempted to continue Japanese tranitions of daimyos and shoguns as well as democracy in Japan.

I look forward to seeing you in action on the CSA Mod. I also look forward to using the Rhodesia Civ.

The CSA is on its way. All that needs to be done are an icon for the Unique Unit, pedia entries for the CSA and Jefferson Davis, and most importantly, a model for the Unique Improvement. There's really only one or two people in the modding community who can make improvement models from scratch, and I'm waiting on a response from one of them, to see if he can do it. Said modder is also interested in putting finishing touches on Yucatan, which is closer to completion.
