as normal the ground combat is TERRIBLE. The vehicles do not decay fast enough and cause pile ups. i have such a problem moving units around the board especially at choke points.

Nope, those were absorbed by the Rebel Alliance/NR or smashed by the Empire. The post-CW campaigns show a lot of CIS remnants being hunted down, said campaigns are where early commanders like Screed and Lankin fought in.
