love these, the only issues i have is that the resin counter is cut off a bit, and the fingers are a little wonky at times

Outstanding looking gloves, thank you! Only two problems I've noticed after a few hours of playing. 1. Resin counter is obstructed by the glove. 2. Gravity glove-elements go through the fingers, especially the index finger. Besides that it's a 10 out of 10.

i actually just got half life alyx because i liked the tv's and computers andhigh quality models i just like hd things

i just did everything the guide told me to do but the hand model is still the default alyx hand model could someone please help me fix this?

Just wondering, why are the fingers broken? I mean like, the fingers look like it was smashed by a rock XD It's not a breaking issue, I just think it's funny.

Hey Ryxis, try what I did. unsub from the mod, restart steam, start the game, start a new game with addons with the gloves uninstalled, save when you can, restart steam, delete the files the mod came with, delete even the gameinfo files and all that stuff, verify the game and download the missing files, restart steam, sub to the mod again and wait for it to download, go through the steps again, and try it with a new game with addons.

Also make sure that in the addons it's enabled and that when you rewrite the file to pak01_dir, you don't make the same mistake that I did where I removed the .VPK extension from the name when I was renaming it so it was just a regular file instead of a VPK file. If not try disabling the other addons you have, if not I am not sure. Reinstalling the game might be the last resort and reinstalling.

Ok I resolved the issue! sorry about that. I had to delete the files, verify, uninstall the mod, exit out of steam, get back on half life, save, get back out, restart for good measure, reinstall the mod, and go through the entire steps again and now it works. Thank you!

you would have to decompile the textures, edit them to your liking then use the material maker part of the workshop tools to compile them

How can I edit the texture for this? I won't publish them as my own creation, I just wanna make a little needy personal modification is all lol

it would need some model reworking but it can happen, but I would also need permission from paradox to post a version of his gloves. and the switching would have to be done with the console.
short version, someone would have to make a separate addon

I bet it's not, but is it possible to have both yours and paradox's glove mod at the same time and be able to switch between them?

Is there any way to make a version that visually removes the gravity gloves while retaining gravity glove capability? That would be amazing, especially if the resin and health remained floating visibly on the back of the hand. Paradox did something like this for the HEV arms addon, but the forearms and elbow pockets rendered that addon useless imho.
