It's working fine for me. I suspect you might have another addon installed that's causing issues.

The crosshair is drawn in the center of the screen, but your view perspective is changed after the crosshair has been drawn causing this issue. I like the way that it's currently working just to keep the script as simple and lightweight as possible.
