Experiencing the same issue with getting mostly no prefix after a while. Tried verifying the game cache and disabling all mods but this one, same result. I have reforge history at 20 but it does happen even as low as 4. It happens easily with the Minishark but happens much less often with shortswords, from my own tests it seems that the more prefixes an item can have the less likely it is to happen.

Just got this mod after spending about 10 minutes trying to get a decent Bat Bat.

Disable all mods except this one and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, disable mods until it starts happening and note down the mod causing it, aswell as the item you tried to reforge

Not 100% sure if it's this mod, but sometimes items I've tried reforging don't get a prefix and get "stuck" for a while as I try to reforge them some more. Random weapons also don't get their damage bonus until I Undo the reforge, in which case it reflects the change.

I did turn the reforge history to 20, if that helps.

Alright, I've done that. Can't test it right now, because I restarted my world after I got fed up with its terrible worldgen, but once i can I'll try it out and see if it works. I'm sure it will though, that's the only explanation for why only Calamity's modifiers worked, and I'm sure you've seen this issue before. Thanks for the help.

damn, no idea what's causing it then, i spent all my money reforging my Diamond Idol, passing basically all the max value vanilla modifiers as well as the stealth generation one from calamity several times over, but got none of the orchid ones, not even the one that gives gambler chips. I also settled for menacing on my other two shaman accessories and warding on the shield of Cthulhu without ever seeing an Orchid modifier... Can't tell if I'm ridiculously unlucky or if something just isn't working right. Anyway, thanks for the response.

@TheAlmightyPotato: I just reforged a Corrupt Scepter (a shamanic weapon) with the Spirited modifier, and a vanilla accessory with the Loaded modifier (both from Orchid ( https://terrariamods.wiki.gg/wiki/Orchid_Mod/Modifiers )) , so I can't replicate your claim.

The Orchid Mod prefixes don't seem to be obtainable by reforging with this mod, so it seems as though I would have to temporarily disable it every time I want to roll for a shaman bond prefix for example. If there's no way to fix this on your end, would it be possible to at least add an option in the config to disable any prefix restrictions on command to avoid having to unload everything?

I tested it with the new update, and technically it not all works, it's just the "increased prefix tiers" will override the "don't reroll duplicate prefixes", but it's not a big deal. The undo button works regardless of config setting.
Will update the mod to remove the incompatibility warning

The mod seems to be working fine w/ calamity for me and my friend on our server. Just had to make sure to disable the calamity config option that disables RNG.

The problem for me was Auto Reforge (placing some weapons in the reforge slot freezes the game, forcing a restart) which hasn't been updated for almost 2 months now, it sucks I have to disable it (liked the ability to see possible modifiers, including modded ones), maybe someone will release an unofficial fix/patch/workaround for it, if that's possible.

I just released a workaround so that instead of freezing the game, it will just revert you to no reforge for those that it can't get anymore.

Ok I replicated it. It keeps looping to try to apply a prefix it can't get anymore. Sounds like that other mod needs to figure out how to prevent applying it even when Item.Prefix(prefix) is called.

In the meantime, you can just disable the configuration option

yes I have tested it out. There is a better recast option in the configuration options of a mods called Quality of Life. This option will cause the bad affixes that appeared earlier to disappear. Clicking restore will cause the game to freeze.

can you replicate this with a minimal set of mods so I can test it myself? Because it works for me with just this mod enabled

Not tested yet. Clicking the restore option when there are many mods will also cause the game to freeze. This may appear on mod items

Putting some equipment in the reforging option will cause the game to freeze.

Well, it seems like it actually was Calamity that broke the "undo" button

Hi, for some reason the "Undo" button is not appearing, not even changing the position makes it appear, I'm using "Armor Modifiers & Reforging" could there be some incompatibility within these two mods that makes the undo button unable to appear?

i did have auto reforge on before i enabled this one but removed it in favor of this

had it enabled and twice in a row my friend got duplicate modifiers and the undo button is missing, havent tested single player yet

I just tested it in multiplayer, every feature works for me. Can you elaborate, and test it separately (without any other mods enabled)?
