when will i be able to cook up some beef/horse meat food recipes then for the vanilla survival mechanics, like the wolfs, wolf meat is abit dry

I've been trying to get this mod to work for the better half of two days. nothing is spawning even though it was spawning fine the first day I added it to my servers. is their any advice on what it can be? here is a list of the mods i have going if this helps https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3588796699

It's unlikely to be mes by itself.

If it is there's nothing I could do you need to ask the other mod authors

Maybe its cause of MES? ANy way to set the drops on MES? If i remove mes and use the other version of this mod it works. But this version with mes gives me this random loot :P

It sounds like a mod compatibility problem, something else can change the loot if it has a old copy of the loot table it will override the vanilla values.

I killed many animals and they are dropping random loot (motor, power cells..) but don't drops meats... Am I missing something? Thanks!!!!

Just a quick +1 to updating the loot table to match that of Apex Survival critters. :) Great mod. Fun to see critters roaming about. :)

That's a few mods, I would start by removing AiEnabled it doesn't work right now.

Hey for some strange reason the rolls on the animals give me resources instead of meat, such as Magnesium. Do you want me to give a full mod list?

Is it possible to add the meat rolls to these animals because I use the Apex version and it's DLC and this mod really adds realism to a variety of animals that spawn and I dont like to eat dog meat.

UPDATE! server offset for better turret accuracy and faction fix for odd behaviour there.

Any update on this? Seems like the wolves spawned by planet creature spawner aren't compatible with the new survival update.

Big update coming soon, I'm waiting for details of the modifications keen are making for the survival update

No, usually if they don't spawn you'll have to change the load order

No I can't, there is a incompatibility with the mes creature spawner and MES.
You can use the "not MES" one with MES and daily needs it just won't have the biome spawning

no just got a bit confused as you have this MES version that is not compatible with Daily Needs, then you have a Non-MES version that does support Daily Needs. i was meant to leave a comment on the other version asking if you plan on making one that supports both MES and Daily Needs

The faction starts as neutral you can use the admin faction controls to set it and make peace

Is there any way to set these creatures to be neutral? I like to see them running around but my guns immediately shoot them.

I didn't know that, I wonder when that was added. I know combat phase also stops creatures but I used to be able to get constant spawning until the game crashed 😅

For anyone else who seems to be having problems getting this mod and/or Alien Animals to work, it turns out that in the config for MES (appdata/roaming/SpaceEngineers/Saves/[some number]/[your savegame]/Storage/ModularEncounterSystems/Config-Creatures.xml) the absolute minimum time for anything to spawn is set to 15 minutes by default. I'm guessing the settings are optimized for multiplayer, but if you're just hangin' out in single-player like me you might wanna fiddle with the settings.

I'm having a strange issue where the animals are spawning, but they are using the red engineer model. Could that be caused by a load order issue?

Then your issue is with MES. I suggest having a look at the MES wiki and discord for more troubleshooting tips.
