I am glad someone has released a fix in the workshop that still works to this day, so everyone can enjoy this masterpiece that still holds up even to this day, especially compared to those low effort 2D nextbot chase shit.
Co-op gamemode was probably my first add-on ever downloaded and surprinsingly, the map works really well in sandbox gamemode.

Well Honestly you dont have to delete it, you could make a sandbox version of this map, for some machinima creators it would be very useful

I probably won't be able to do that, to make this work I had to make some lua scripts that change how the NPCs behave and as far as I know half life 2 doesn't support that.

I know you don't like touching your older stuff that much, especially after gmod updates kept breaking them, but considering Half Life 2 now has a workshop, would you maybe consider porting some of them over if its feasible? would be neat to be able to play some of them again in a functional form.

(Even if I doubt this one is portable as HL2 workshop doesn't allow custom .DLLs)

Sorry, but I probably won't. Gmod updates break my maps sometimes, people don't read the description and then complain it doesn't work, or they have too many mods and complain that stuff is broken... I just don't want to deal with that anymore.

That fix you put in the required addons did the trick, the map works almost perfectly now! Although, (internal name "Chad") likes to do a reference pose at act 1 when you first meet him... No idea if this issue is exclusive to me though.

Thanks, the map is very experimental so I half expected that something would go wrong eventually, but it's still annoying.

This map definitely was working last year. Played through it with some friends. Really fun map. Really sucks that this map is now broken. At least a workaround was found.

Good news! I managed to get this map working. It was really fun playing it and some moments were really tense. Truly one of the best maps I've played. Nicely done.

To fix this map, you must downgrade Garry's Mod to version 2827492496969379694 using DepotDownloader. This works on Windows at least. More info about this version can be found on steamdb.info
