Hey man! This mod is good, but would this be possible for you to do an other version of this mod for let's say 40 policies or more? It's mainly to go with the "Idea Variaton" which adds 42 new idea sets to the table. Thus ramping up the number of policies available far greater than ever. It would be appreciated.

As Johnny Long stated below, this mod makes it so that the AI is incapable of progressing their tech until they've fallen decades behind. No idea why this is an issue, but they all have a 170% tech cost increase that makes it so they can't buy tech even at maximum monarch points. Very unfortunate that this mod breaks the game, it was a great idea!

in late game i get 70 free policies, is it supposed to be like this?

I have all policy slots, but its not free (playing with expanded mods)

Some how, some way, this makes the AI (atleast for me) not be able to take any tech for a long time, due to a 170% tech increase malus because of Idea slots? xD

I have had an issue with 3 games now where the AI cannot upgrade their technology at all since the cost of the extra idea groups causes the AI tech cost to skyrocket.

I'm facing the same issue as Fear_Naught. Everytime a savegame is loaded, the policies get reset to only 3.

Hey, either this or reduced idea cost seems to sometimes cause ais to take ideas at a super delayed rate, its 1466 and noone has even taken any tech 4. I have seen this happen in three games now, in one case me being on tech 27 and most of the world on 17 or 20.

Same problem as Fear_Naught, I'm guessing this is caused by the trigger happening to the player nation too, right before the player takes over?

nice mod, but i have one small problem. every time i start up the game, my policies that i enacted in my last save, say 6 or 7 polices will revert back to vanilla 3. Any ideas as to how to fix this.

I was having the same issues that Arailies was having, with the addition of it crashing after about a month in game. I tried deleting and using the one you provided and it fixed it immediately. It appears steam just used a older version of the mod when I subbed I guess? Anyway, good mod. Thanks for taking the time to make it, as well as inadvertently helping me out.

It says they cost powerpoints if you hover over the monarch power, but if you add everything up, you'll see it doesn't actually cost anything.

Policies aren't cost free for me - all 20 per category are selectable but cost monarch points.

Sometimes steam is annoying and doesn't download it properly. It might have bugged maybe? Try this direct download https://mega.nz/file/XctTWYib#Fs-1kZ_IZLmEVy1ejqAvsZpv2iQRKwrlGJNF67dnJOA and extract into your eu4 mods folder.

I'm really not sure because that was a bug with the old version of the mod, but with the way i've done it now, the only way you should have less than 8 policy slots is if you're an AI.

Hey, not sure whats causing it, but loading up my saves while using the mod (games I started with the mod), the extra policy slots empty themselves. Any ideas what causes that?

I'm using Extended timeline and make war great again mods as well (they shouldn't conflict with anything)

Yeah, I'm in the process of recreating my old mods from my old account, except trying to fix anything wrong with them and make them more compatible with other mod. If you're subbed to any of my other old mods, watch out as they might be gone soon too and uploaded here.
