@darkpast delete the mod, restart the game and reinstall then restart again. Should work after that

@Qw3rty make sure you have the Vmanip base installed and enabled, if so and its still having errors disable all your mods except this and vmanip base.

I just happen to be looking at mods, and for anyone that has too many binds, maybe the radial binds mod will help you out, you can bind one key to the radial menu then use that to use the actions you wish to perform, its come in handy for me in many ways, way easier than rebinding my entire keyboard

the only way to fix that is to type "unbind x"

but the other addon you use for x, just rebind that to x

yes i did that but the armorplates still work on x even thought i bind it in g

in that case just change the "x" to any key you wish

you mean 2 mods have a bind for x?

hello what do i do if i have two binds for the armorplate and want to have it on one bind because the other bind is on another mod (sorry i this doesn't make any sense)

finally i found this mod the other one mod has trash texture this is the best one

I tried that and it still didn't work. I then proceeded to look through the comments for a possible fix; I found the commands you said should reset the mod, after trying that it now functions again. Thank you for your time and thoughtfulness you have put into trying to help me and other people.

reinstall the mod and see if that fixes it, if it still is having errors i will look into it to see if it is user or creator error.

Even though I have disabled every mod except for this mod and Vmanip, it still comes up with the same error message.

I will do both of those things.

have you at least tried disableing the mods just to see if they were the isue instead of not disableing them?

I have not disabled any of the mods that I used when I got this bug.

Whenever I try to pick up a plate or put one in I get this error message in the console, are you having this problem too?

I have an idea: List every addon that you think doesn't work with this addon.

i will still try to help to the best of my ability if this does not work

if it still fails to work check and make sure it isnt a mod causing this problem, disable every mod except this and vmanip

make sure you actually have plates on your person

make sure vmanip is installed and enabled.

and finally if you cannot get it to work use these commands to reset it.

sv_armorplates_armor 50

sv_armorplates_maxarmor 100

sv_armorplates_maxheld 5

sv_armorplates_replacebattery 0

sv_armorplates_spawnamount 2

it seems to not work correctly. It does not work either tho theres no errors it just plays the one animation and it cancels.

On button press how many plates does it say in the center of your screen

if it says 0 spawn them manually/fix the holding issue by typing "sv_armorplates_maxheld 5" and or "sv_armorplates_spawnamount 5"

idk if i did it right because the animation and sounds play but no plates zipper opens then closes no plates inserted
