dont know why but the launcher are not charging. it was working for 1.6 but not 1.5 i opt back to tho this version is heavily modded

Hey pebblecat! Do you mind if sindre or myself use parts of the Electric Launcher code (with attribution) in RimNauts 2 or a patch for such?

Making Large Pod Launchers with an Electric variant, or making something like an Ion-Propulsion Material Delivery Cannon for bringing materials back from space without requiring so much Chemfuel would be really neat.

dont use crematory at all, at most for waste clothes , but its better to get mod for restitching clothes to cloth/leather .. other mats

*Idea is supperb, except slow recharge time ... if you welcome single raid of about 50 people per few days then just use corpses for fueling biofuel refinery .. 2k or so fuel instantly .. in early or even mid game you wont use them at all cause of scarce of power and its slowness in end-game.. + in case you want to escape in emergency ... raiders wont wait for you to get your launchers ready in next 2 days D:

So i appeal for some kind of "overcharge" which could even possible sip up all of the network for one 1h or longer (up to how big of power source you have)

Idea is quite creative, if the author still cares about mod development...

Would it be possible to speed up the charging by adding more power ? .. have some vanometers, using all my geothermals on massive map .. so power is in not problem for me D: (also stealing all solar panels i see in raiders bases (got about 7 so far.. would have been more but my assualt rifles few times broke them .. after bandits took cover under them T-T)

@Reianor I've added support for 1.2, which ended up being pretty easy.
Also, you might be thinking of Vanilla Furniture: Power, which has a gas powered launcher that I think works similarly to electricity. Not sure though, as I haven't played with the mod.

Thanks. Also, am I remembering wrong or was there a mod like this one a long time ago?
Because I THINK I remember charging a transport pod up with electricity some years back, but searching for it now I only see your version of it and it's been posted this year.
There's a high chance I'm misremembering though.
For example I could have this mixed up with electrically charged train from factorio or some such.
Either way, good mod idea.

If not, would it be much trouble to make a 1.2 version?

Pretty sure I'm not the only one who can't move on to 1.3 yet because [insert your own favourite mod's name here] is not 1.3 compatible yet, and abandoning it in favor of 1.3 is not even under consideration.

Not that I mind, but if that becomes the official lore to this thing, labeling it as spacer tech and giving it its own research project should be the immediate consequence. Plasma drives are one hell of a lot more advanced than chemical combustion rockets.

Creative, I can see this working in the game world, ie. electric plasma rockets used instead of regular combustion rockets
