There's no need for a team toggle because the mutator only affects the player, no matter their team choice.
If you want to hear bots shout "grenade" before throwing one, use Mozfoo's Callout series of mods.

RadioactiveJellyfish, the person who made the code, is polishing it and working with a voice actor to make a Player Voice mod with original dialogue and voicelines that aren't ripped from other games.
Once work has finished, Jelly plans to publicly release the player voice script (most likely on the official Ravenfield discord)
You can keep an eye on the server to see when he finishes and releases it

It's just a purely personal thing BTW, not a gripe about your mod or anything. Please don't hurt me. :3

Do you have any idea how I could get my hands on the coding n' stuff to make myself a personal player voices mod? I love playing with just the player voices mod, but I don't love some of the lines or voices...

The options menu I'm referring to is the options menu on the main menu of the game, not the mutator's configuration screen.
The audio in this mod outputs to the game's music mixer. If you have the music slider in the options menu turned down, the audio won't work.
If you dont hear the game's main music with its blaring trumpets, that's because the music slider was turned down.

not working. i turned it on and none of the voices were working. I checked the debug menu and I saw the messages for the mod being loaded, and even though the voices weren't playing, there were no error messages or anything. how to fix?

Steel has said he fixed the onFire issue in the beta branch so this mod should be working again.

That's an issue on the Beta branch.
Steel added some extra functionality to the onFire event which broke it. I reported the issue to Steel and just have to hope he fixes it before he publishes the update to the stable branch

Also my game was set to beta branch, and today I also received game's update.

The mutator didn't work for me. Well, except when I capture a flag. When ingame, I pressed Page Up and see the line "Error:PlayerVoiceMutator:(319,49-105):attempt to index a nil value".
