As a game designer (Avalon Hill) I grew up with simplicity and functionality in game boards. I find the gaudiness and clutter of the original play space in this game not just distracting but downright off-putting. This mod reminds me of the early (1960s) AH game boards in titles like PanzerBlitz, Stalingrad, even Tactics II. Looking forward to it.
