Sorry, do you know if there is a rework of this character but for the active item the poop that did the same thing as this mod but instead of poop when you picked up red hearts you transformed the item the poop into a poop with red spots or a red poop that had its effect

small bug i noticed is that when you use options? (the one that gives you multiple room pickup options), if you pick up a heart it doesn't make the other pickup disappear

dont really like the petrified poop start, of course its a good trinket for bb but starting with it feels kinda cheaty

I don't know if you can do this, but I think it would be a pretty cool feature if you used the yum heart you spawn 2 dips.

@enginyro Considering that Dips are Dipshits (pun intended) that never actually do anything, hearts are still pretty much completely useless. Also, what kinda drops are you getting with Petrified Poop that is so powerful?? Am I just unlucky?? I barely get anything, and if I do it's a useless coin or red heart.

You can convert hearts sold in shops into dips at no fee, essentially stealing them.

@urist honestly, if they were any more powerful, it would make blue baby way too easy. it's moreso meant to make hearts not completely useless than to completely rework blue baby.

imo, giving BB petrified poop is more powerful than anything else added by the mod

Is it just me or is this kinda underwhelming? The dips really don't help much during fights, maybe occasionally taking out a fly or something. They're more like meat shields that last for all of 5 seconds during a bossfight. Am I missing something?

i agree with @FluffPyroKid , i can't really add game-changing mods without being paranoid about cheating, but this is a very intresting change and i'd love to see it being used in-game

@Toast I thought so too, but red hearts still drop. They turn into friendly poops when you pick up the red heart.

this is a very good mod, genuinely makes me excited to play blue baby and earn their achievements. could you possibly do this for tainted Judas too though? i find it him t be a little underwhelming with how many red hearts we miss with him

Could you make this mod without the tainted variant? Tainted BB is already as powerful as he needs to be. I love how this effects base BB (even if petrified poop is a bit excessive) but i feel too strong as tainted BB. Thanks in advance

Hmm... i used to buff Fate (aka blue baby) myself before too, but never with petrified poop trinket. Why not swap it for Lil' Larva trinket instead?!

Either way, its good to see someone buff one of the, if not THE MOST boring character in Isaac.
That blue boi needs a buff in actual game itself.

Tainted ??? is very strong if you use him right yea. He doesn't need the buff like normal ???.
Besides that petrified poop is also rather excessive, I feel like the dip mechanic is already a nice lil buff to make ??? more unique and have more items and stuff for him be useful, the petrified poop is just overkill

YUP. PERFECT. but i'd probably change Petrified Poop trinket into Fartoom! as you can gain *massive* resources as it stands, far outstripping anyone else. But perfect otherwise.

I feel like Petrified Poop is a bit too good with The Poop, since it is the dream combo you can have with one of these two. And with the money it brings, you can buy almost every object in every shop with it. Begining with it feels very weird.

Good job for the hearts into dips, it works well, it feets the character and it is a nice and balanced rework.

@Fluffpillar Perhaps instead there could be a config for which trinket is used for Blue Baby and Tainted Blue Baby (each would have a separate config), with a choice between no trinket (the default for Tainted ???), Lil' Larva (perhaps the default for normal Blue Baby), Petrified Poop, Blue Key, Dingle Baby or Butt Penny?

Sure, i miss out at food for devil beggar but lets be real, why should you go devil deal with ??? in the first place (unless it´s a dark room deal and even then it won´t make much of a difference for the run)
