@Bane I have it set to low just that at the time I used it it was just too demanding I guess & my PC is pretty powerful. The other 2k Pavelow works fine! Great model and animations here tho. I also run a lot of other mods so it's probably just hitting that 4gb l42 source engine limit in hd mods and vram use and memory use etc.

Not necessary, my previous computer ran this mod just fine, no crashes and it was considered a bit lowish end it was a TUF with only a 1650 TI

You could've compiled the LOD0 by using CSGO's studiomdl instead of l4d2's version

@Callsign_Ewok just set you cached page memory to low and you'll be fine

But weirdly my 2k c130 works fine.... oddly. Even though its bigger. Perhaps that model and the rescue plane is somehow less demanding on the game due to its own optimization or how its handled? Source engine and l4d2 is weird. Valve..

No disrespect btw at all homie its a beautiful model that you have here and i appreciate your hard work getting it into the game, however yes before I can use it I need to optimize my msi trident 3 gaming pc further and get more ram since i believe i have 16gb, plus even if the game is definitely not using it all.... the source engine can only take so much punishment with 2k and 4k mods i noticed and thus your right its definitely not built for the game but im sure someone could fix it and optimize it even further... Maybe a 1440p version of this or some kind of light weight version of this could come out in the future by somebody? I just noticed their hasn'nt been another hd pave low since this one and the other one. There should be more interesting and high quality replacements for this helicopter or the rescue chopppers in general. I love the blackhawk 2 mod for example. Well optimized, rng and animated. Otherwise yes i will have to use the old one in the meantime.

Im definitely gonna need a ram upgrade for this one chief even on paged low memory usage on tumtara animation map I instantly crashed after taking a few steps. Needs to be optimized further like the other HD pavelow that exists that yes is older and technically not as good but is still very respectable today and much much smaller in file size and ram/memory absorption. I notice heavy mods like 2k and 4k hd mods have this problem of not being well optimized for memory usage. Plus population mods like the complete population mod im using do not help as big population mods like that just add more memory usage plus the ultra particle effects package im using on top of that. Im currently in the process of trying to build my most definitive experience I can out of this game without it crashing is my objective, trimming off the fat. Its fun process tinkering with this game actually.

So excellent! just wish the interior was a little more like Ellie's HD Pave low, but the exterior features make up for it
