Just don't open the weapon inventory, press 6 and find the Thermite Cannon. Now it will appear in your hand and you can shoot. I hope I helped. Have a nice day.

Still works for me.

Questions:
1. Are you using it from a loaded save ?
2. Are you using any moddEd weapons that might be based off this weapon.
3. Are you using any inventory manager mods.

how would I go about changing the ID of this to fix the conflict? not too familiar with teardown. I made a local copy, looked in the LUA but under local weaponBase the ID is already set to nil...

@ratman - that's likely a mod conflict - there's a couple of weapons that used this as a base without updating the id in game. one of your downloaded weapon mods is causing that issue,

It'd be usefu if instead of complaining things don't work to give some context.

As I've just tested it, and it still very much works.

Perhaps there's a skill issue or you have a mod installed that clashes?

I found a problem. for some reason the thermite particles are hitting the model of the gun and stopping there instead of just clipping through the gun model i suggest moving the point where the particles are emitted from forwards.

if it doesn't show up it's because of the mod that shows a weapon list when you press q. It conflicts with a few other mods as well.

@antony, all teardown mods on the workshop should be 100% free to subscribe to, just click subscribe and they should appear in the mods menu in your game.
