I've given this quite a bit of thought a while ago and sent some feedback to the devs.
This is, infact, a bug. But quite a subtle one.
When a map ends the game slows down, right?
You see all the players physics slowing down, so you would be excused to think the entire game is slowing down.
That is not quite correct.
The flashing you see, is the game slowing down (so, 2 seconds becomes 10 seconds).
But! (here comes the important part) the frequency of flashing lights doesn't slow down.
So instead of a very slowly flashing light you get a normal flashing light, just, a lot longer.
The bug is on a todo list I *think* but I should prob send in another 'hey, this is a bug' message.
Me and many other map makers have tried to fix the 'facing the wrong direction' thing for months but as of now we haven't had any succes in that area.
But, they should shoot any enemies they see ( in my experience they always would ) once they turn around (because of gunfire for example)
Are you supposed to control the troopers from the helicopter? Because i could not, they face the wrong way, do not have sight and dont shoot...
Heres a screenshot of how close it was. The pink at the top is relatively safe as those explosions were pretty contained. The one that I was most concern was the strike on the storage room to the south as that explosion was quite large and rip open the wall where orange was holding the hall. The other explosions to the right are fine as I don't think many operators are there by the time of extraction. I would also like to request the additional note that an airstrike will happen to the description so people who read know to get out of the hot zone while extracting.
...sir?
It's illegal to make something this beautiful.
