by editing the vmt to allow translucency, using either $alphatest 1 or $translucent 1

If you were to compare the skybox model and the actual building you play in, those floors would be right behind the Mercy Hospital sign.

Okay - so I am tripping. They impressively used a skybox texture that looks close to No Mercy's.

Either the skybox they used looks identical to vanilla or I'm tripping. This seems to disallow Informal Skyboxes from being used on this map.

I'm gonna check the second time because I might be tripping.

@мяFunreal Since I assume this bug is result of level of detail, perhaps you could make it you lower resolution texture when you are farther away from it?

i modified the material to load the larger texture because it looks better. but because it's used as a worldbrush (not part of the model, but the world. like walls of a room) i had to do some transform work stuff, which seems like it didn't work on that map.

But i tested it on my end and it worked well. I guess i'll have to undo that change and let the game keep using the lower resolution texture to avoid this.

@мяFunreal I encountered a bug where text in hospital building is not rendered correctly in No Mercy map 2:

In No Mercy map 3, when seen shortly after leaving saferoom it does however look how its supposed to, so I assume its a problem with level of detail (I playing on low shader setting). Would you mind looking it to this, please?

Verifying file integrity does not have any effect on mods. I'm curious if it really fixed your mods, or if just restarting the game did the trick too.

Wondering if the folks with issues verified file integrity after installing. I've had some new mods missing textures until I did that and it usually has fixed it for me.

i download the addon and everything is the way it should be. no idea why it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.
but i compiled it again, disabled my own custom content folders and the addon works.
If it doesn't work, then i got no clue why.

It's missing it's texture or the file path is incorrect. The hospital is just a tower of purple and black squares.
