Crashes for me are somewhat inconsistent, but they do happen. Game never crashed before using this mod.

I have similar issues as Simon except this sometimes occurs when resuming saves. It is inconsistent, but I confirmed I don't encounter crashes on vanilla. This appears to be a recent problem.

Unfortunately this seems to crash my game every time on the forming spain idea. I tried it over and over again in the tutorial and it crashes every time with this mod and never just on the base game.

Some other map mods also are crashing it in the same way. Unfortunately it's only the good looking ones that are doing this .....

my game has just started crashing now. it didn't crash last night (May 1st), but it crashes now (May 2nd). Turning off the mod is the only way to prevent it from crashing
