Doesn't add any money at all no matter what. Go to Vigo and nothing. Start a new game and nothing.

It's actually pretty easy to edit your save file to give yourself however many credits you want:

Right click SG2 in steam menu -> Properties -> Local Files -> Browse local files. Find the save folder and open it. Find the save you want to edit. Right click that save -> Open with (with notepad). Once it opens, use CTRL+F to open the search function, search for "credits". Once it finds that line, edit it to the amount you want. Save the file, exit notepad. Restart SG2.

Hi, it's not me deleting your comments, although im not sure what ad infested website you're refering to. Just click subscribe and it should be downloaded, the old comment about the mod manager was while SPG2 was in beta and subscribing didnt work, hence having to use the mod manager included with the game. This mod is for people who don't want to edit their saves or mess around in files, and would just rather have the money added to their game.

It should still work with SPG2, just check if you have other mods installed, they may be conflicting with it.

just edit the save game file, my comment keeps getting deleted, there is no need for this mod, obviously the author just wants you to download the MM from a site that is loaded with ads, it's just a ad revenue whore

Doesn't work when playing with no DLCs, doesn't work with Orgins DLC either. Waste of time.

I didn't even use the MM.

Subscribe works for me and you only have to be in the system near Vigo for the money to be added. Close to it. I had it before I docked.

cheat engine is a god send. use it, know it, love it, for every game you get tired at or get stuck on

windows 10 won't even allow me to acces the stupid files

You can easily change your level and money values in the game files... these mods seem pointless.

I use "cheat engine" and can get as much money as i want within seconds, without any MOD. so far...

1 hint you can use cheat engine to directly give you money any number 1 mil, 500 thousand or even 100 mil only takes like 10 seconds. The program uses numbers so everything with numbers you can change (in almost every game) for the people that can't get this to work.

okay if you search your save game file for CREDITS: you can edit this directly. w/o resorting to any serious anything.

No biggie, I just used a trainer to get money.

Possibly, depends what other mods alter. Any other mod altering the start file will stop this mod from working.

i got the mod working then when i reset my mods, it stopped working does this mod have to be in a certain order with other mods

this mod doesn't work. It's installed and everything in the game. I've tried both creating a new game and going to Vigo in my current game, but to no avail. The files seem to be in the folder, but my character still has no credits...

Sorry if this is a repeat, but a tip for those having problems getting it to work... After downloading using the mod manager (in the game directory), start the game, goto the MODs section, click it 'turn it on' (should find the picture of it changes from an X to a money bag) and then you should find next to it, almost hidden, a tiny tick box. Click on that to install. And then load/start your game as normal. It works as of the retail release (30/09/14)

The Takei one? Nah, it was just messing with sounds, it was only the warp sound for a bit of fun. Looks like someones already making a good start on Star Trek, no doubt they'll have one soon.

would nice if I could tell the mod to add a certain amount of money... You add some items that you activate liek you do the speed buff and hull repair items... Have different range of money/items... Once you use the item you get money

Honestly I don't really feel like any alternate form of acquiring credits is needed. It takes away from the immersion of the game. Sure the credits right away would be nice, but what what are you going to do buy a carrier at level 5? You wouldn't be able to use it until level 35 anyway. A great way to earn credits is to go out hunting for pirates. Sure this can be a little tedious, but many have crossed my path unwittingly while I was out questing, and now I'm sitting on 68 million credits.
