kestrel extras in a nutshell:

fury fighter: MiG - 21
loyalist truck: ural-4320
defender aa truck: ural-4320 with ZPU
equalizer ifv: BMP-2 (original)
sprinter light transport heli: idk what is that

Will this be updated? The vehicles are awesome but the bots struggle to use them. The Equalizer just drives in a straight line and hits stuff

one thing I don't like is how the fury doesn't have the same color as every other Kestrel vehicle, it's weird

Funny fact is that i think the magpie insurgency began in the kestrel's country seeing as the pickup trucks and a civilian truck have the recoil-less rifles and HMGs while the citizen truck has the aa, Which are the same guns the kestrels use. Same with the armored trucks. and the tyrant MBT is an older version of the kestrels.

makes sense for kestrels to be smaller countries, as their equipment looks pretty soviet-like. most of the poor countries use soviet-era tech. very good :steamthumbsup::headcrab:

Kestrels were made as a stand-in for smaller countries that aren't as well-off or well equipped as Eagles and Ravens.

Nope. Their gear is themed off of a lot of Cold War surplus, most of which is Soviet like it is in real life, but you also see them using what looks like a GKN Simba for an APC, or a Marchetti SF.260 for an attack plane. Plus it wouldn't make much sense for a faction from the 1980s to be going up modern ones, would it?

Yes, the Sprinter is heavily based on the Alouette III. I think it looks appropriate for armies on tight budgets.
