A nod to Fuhrer_51. I did download this mod(got used to having such a thing on hud) But,today I started to play MW-5 for the first time in over a year. I found myself 'feeling' my directional/torso orientation movement. Like I always did. Played Mechwarrior games since...well,forever. And yes,I do 'feel' that mech. Like a second skin when I'm on the field. Of course ;)

One of the most critical mods out there for this game hands down. Makes it real easy to keep track of where your torso is facing when playing in the cockpit view.

Ya, it changed some in the latest update. I kept this mod live in my game, though, as it presents a larger, green graphic in the compass - which I find very, very helpful. The vanilla version is a slim minty green line. But an improvement nonetheless!

Seems the 9-23 update added in a far better torso twist graphic than the old default had. It's not under the crosshair like this, but it's far easier to see than the old vanilla was.

This doesn't seem to be showing up with the new UI overhaul, though. This was invaluable for me. Thank you for a great mod, Command!

Be nice if there was a version of this in the default turquoise blue vanilla mech cockpit color.

You're welcome. Looks like it's an all-or-nothing. Single image get's revealed when twisting torso left or right, so it has to be a single, repeatable image. So no-go on the "arrowed" version : /

Whether it pans out or not, I'm grateful for this one in the mean time. Thanks again!

Funny, I was testing something like that out myself. Don't know if the arrows are visible enough though - there's a finite amount of real estate to play with unfortunately. I'll give it a few more hours and decide.

I like this indicator, but I manipulated the thumbnails for your throttle mod to make a concept image for a /ideal/ (for me) torso twist indicator. Awesome. Wish I could make it slightly taller but the "viewport" for the area is pretty set in place as far as I can tell. Anyway, glad you like it - it's helped me out tons the last few days I tested it.
