Does this mod work with mods that change the gameplay of a character in any way (such as Interesting Apollyon)?

This seems to break other custom characters like tainted Mei and Rebekah as after uninstalling this I was able to play these characters without the game crashing.

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but i used it with jacob & esau and esau died and jacob turned minto tainted jacob?

I discovered an oddity. I was playing co-op with a friend and I was P1. When I used this item our UI swapped, in other words I became P2 and my friend became P1. Also when we were fighting Mega Satan I was off-screen below during the phase transition animation and the game indicated that both me and my companion Dople were P2.

Great item, great concept. Would appreciate if you could give the doples flight if the player has flight. You could use the Esau Jr. sprite.

probably cause it has no flight which is required during the beast fight, unless it gets flight from the random items it spawns with

using mom's cellphone during the beast fight makes the dopple fall into the lava and instantly die which is funny but i dont think is intentional

But......why does Mom's cellphone give Isaac a stepbrother?

yes, the dopple can die; one dies in the video

i contemplated that but id have to make the item stronger as it being dependent on rng would be a bad practice

An alternate option to deal with the charge issue is to have it so the item can only be charged by battery pickups, like how the phone in Amazing Mirror works (but with having to recharge it after 1 use instead of 3). Assuming making that happen is even possible, anyway.

Actually this should be more than 8, it clearly could get op with mass spawning

Cool idea for a mod however I feel that the 8 charges needed to use it are a bit much. maybe you could make it so that it initially costs 1 charge to use however the amount of charges to use it increases with each use or something along that line.

I think that using it with the Book of virtues will spawn 1 wisp for the player.& another for the dople spawned! But what do you guys think of a good BoV synergy with Mom's Cellphone?

Cool idea. A lot of weird new things can be done with the co-op/esau/strawman stuff it seems like. Should probably add this to the old chest and mom's chest pool though, since it's a mom item.
