Are you encountering any errors in the game - or just that behavior?

The mod is great, but I've been unable to record in the journal for a few days. I can only create it, but not record my experience.

Am i able to make it where you get VHS xp back but you cant rewatch it like how you dont need to re read magazines?

I'm indifferent if people are polite for the most part-- realistically it's been less than a week. Their comment is layered in compliments but boils down to sharing their opinion that the mod isn't maintained. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, if there was common errors related to the mod there would probably be more comments I imagine. So without any error logs or descriptions of what issues they're having I have to assume it's user error.

I've used this mod for years and I genuinely appreciate every second of work put into this mod. Thank you Chuck for all of your effort, it has made my time spent playing PZ much more enjoyable without the worry of losing ones progress in an extremely lore friendly way. To those reading that are impatient about the speed of mod authors updating their works; remember that there are long hours spent completely without necessity, taken directly out of their free time, to provide us with a FREE modification so we can better enjoy our game. Don't forget to show some love to creators, they're good people :)

Love the mod... Absolutely critical to minimizing pain and suffering when dealing with Zomboid glitches... Unfortunate the mod creator isn't necessarily on top of things when it comes to updating.

i've searched all over and cant find where its against TOS but just to let you know, doesnt work on b42.11or.12 MP. no clean ui mods nothing crazy, just no craft for it from what I can see. Great mod otherwise

Yesterday the mod stopped working in a weird way. Its enabled, but I dont see the basic recipe for Bind Journal Together. It only works if I start a game, disable mod, load the game, enable mod and load the game again. anyone had same issue?

@Wraither yes, the game has gotten an update, changes to ui and bodylocations have broken quite a few mods (some of them have already been fixed)

Also, to address your question about a toughness skill -- the rate of XP reading/writing should factor the total XP needed to reach the max level. So I would need to spend time to see why this toughness skill is causing issues.

Probably that MP mod which is against TOS to distribute.

I read the log, gained experience, and logged out of the server. I logged back in, and my experience was reset.

I launched the server on my own PC via the command line.

Could we get better compatability for the toughness skill? Despite the low amount of exp needed it takes many hours to finish transcribing (nearly starving to death)

And because I've seen you ask on other questions in here, I'm not seeing any errors or warnings loged in the server console or on the client when the craft fails

On a build 42 multiplayer server and the recipe cannot be crafted to create the book. It fails with about 4 seconds left and the ingredients are refunded. Any ideas how to fix?

I would check the FAQ to see how the journal works in detail.

My friend is using this skill book but it doesn't seem to restore all his skill XP. However, my server mod states that skill restoration is set to 100. Is there something I'm missing?

i'm having issues with this mod running on a nitrado server. it's not saving carpentry levels for whatever reason. i was hoping someone else has the same issues or knows a potential fix i can run to make it compatible. it didn't have this issue before but for some reason now it does have this issue for whatever reason

if I create my personal recepie it work for the first time but once i load it back up again it will come back to the original B42

I have a curious issue with this mod. No conflicts as far as I'm aware, but when attempting to craft it, the recipe requires double ingredients!

Two Notebooks, Two units of glue (that it demands be from two separate glue bottles, and six leather strips (shows as two entries of 3 leather strips in the crafting UI).

I'm on B42, regular single player sandbox, and also have the Neat Crafting mod installed (but I've not run into any other mod recipes doubling the ingredients, so..)

Finally got it to show in a dedicated server client side. However, crafting stops at 96% at best. Not sure what's going on, no mats expended.
