1998 Godzilla is my favorite. here are the reasons 1:its more realistic in every way. 2: The movie is better in general. 3: It has SO MANY good actors. 4: The lore and origin just makes more sense.

Most people hate his design of Godzilla, but I really like Zilla's design, don't call me crazy, but at one point, it was one of my favourite incarnations of Godzilla and still is.

This incarnation of Godzilla was controversial with critics and the Godzilla fanbase due to it lacking many of the character's traditional traits, such as breathing fire instead of utilizing the character's traditional atomic breath, how it ran away from the military instead of confronting them, its ability to lay eggs, and how it was easily killed by missiles. However, his animated counterpart, Zilla Jr., who was his biological son, was more positively recieved due to utilizing the Toho Godzilla's traditional atomic breath, battling monsters, and withstanding attacks, which is ironic. However, despite being controversial, fans have generally accepted Zilla as being a completely different monster and have warmed up to the character over the years. In Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, Zilla was also praised for his overall appearance and his performance in his fight against Godzilla.

Well lets not forget there was something that came out of that movie, the TV show Godzilla the Series. And I for one felt that Zilla jr fit a better role to being close to Godzilla then his movie counter part. So when I think of Zilla, I just think more of Zilla jr from the TV show rather then the movie

Godzilla 1998 was the first Godzilla film I watched and enjoyed, sure the film had issues but at least it wasn't boringly bad, the animated series were amazing too but it's sad for Zilla to be underrated and barely noticed, but I hope Zilla in the future gets noticed more but I'm glad this Ragdoll pack exists as a updated version of the Godzilla 1998 mod that's on the workshop too.
