Only thing is I heard google map is not for truckers
and trucker's (and commercial vehicles) navigation apps are actually dark background (I have one)

@Wafflelaffle I would like to state you are not limited to the size of image you just need to find or obtain a higher image HD, 2k, 4k resolution or create or capture the image and size you need and then split your images and then compile the mod and test it. As myself and BenganJ have created several backgrounds both ATS and ETS2 found here as well as more info to help you out on creating map bg's. for both games. https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20

@ATAS If I have the time, I could subtly stretch that area out. As for the resolution, I’m limited by the size SCS uses for their default map (2048*2048).

Huge credit to the author, this was a lot of work!..you Photoshop'd the H*** out of the map! It takes awhile to get use to not seeing everything as a blank canvas with Hwy's and cities, but I'll get used to it.

@ATAS - Insofar as cities in the water, it's just like the author said in the description...

@ RailfanKaleb - Yes, it works with C2C, even shows alot of beyond the US countries, and I don't run maps beyond C2C to make it show that much

Great mod just a couple of things that I have issues with is first Los Angeles and Oxnard and that area is in the water and also is there a way to make the map resolution texture higher than it is, other than that the mod is very good just wanted to point those things out.

I prioritised scaling for the western side of US but it should still be pretty accurate everywhere else except for Mexico.
