@TheRealWendy I just saw your comment for some reason. The entitlement is strong with this one. I am german. Do you really expect me to not build my stuff in my mother tongue? Are you aware that video games are available in different languages? I translate everything important before I upload. Some people don't even do that.
TheRealWendy 25. nov. 2023 kl. 11:12
The fact the entire walker is in german...is a huge pain in the ass. Also none of the turrets seem to work.

@Darrel Clang is a real SOB. He always finds a way to fuck things up.
Darrel 13. feb. 2023 kl. 8:35
never give up on clang

@Austin _Legend I think i am done with SE. I like to build mechanical stuff but SE still is not stable enough for the stuff i really want to build. And at this point i doubt it will ever be.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 13. feb. 2023 kl. 8:24
@Gryffindor You should be able to control it if the manual control is activated. Then you head to the cockpit, switch to toolbar 2 and press 4 to control it. There are instructions down on the display of the cockpit.
Austin_Legend 31. jan. 2023 kl. 16:16
Since you seem to have made a habit out of making walkers, given its been a couple years, would you consider trying an UT-AT. Would be a fine addition to your collection lol
GryffintheBaron 22. jan. 2023 kl. 21:27
how do you use the main cannon on the AT-TE? im using the controller for it but its not moving
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 6. juni 2022 kl. 16:47
@Captain_Chance23
Ah i see ... that must be a multiplayer problem. In multiplayer stuff like this is a bit sketchy.
Captain_chance23 6. juni 2022 kl. 13:58
it still dont work for me. it happenes every single time i spawn it. i even spawned it up high in the air and it tornadoed into my friends base half a kilometer away
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 6. juni 2022 kl. 2:51
@Captain_Chance23
I tested it and it works fine for me.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 6. juni 2022 kl. 2:38
@Captain_Chance23
Does this always happen? You shouldn't have any problems if you take my blueprint and spawn it in. As you do so, make sure the blueprint is not touching the ground or something else. Half a meter above the ground should be ok. The wasteland dlc is only used for decoration. The mechanics always have been and still are completely vanilla. I don't really know what causes this. I will have a look at it myself ...
Captain_chance23 5. juni 2022 kl. 18:37
also i dont have wasteland dlc
Captain_chance23 5. juni 2022 kl. 18:34
so i have been having this issue where when i spawn it it completely loses stability and starts spinning through the air. i dont use the weapons mod because i play on a server thats modless. is there any way to fix this ungodly spinning (it breaks itself and other creatiuons near it)
Normal 3. apr. 2022 kl. 9:29
This wasn't criticism. I'm just saying I can modify it myself to be easier for someone of my clueless intellect.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2022 kl. 2:58
@NormalDavid
I see. Well when i play SE the next time i will build a pure vanilla version.
Normal 2. apr. 2022 kl. 18:45
Now, with a bit of modification and Custom Turret Controllers, this will be easy for those who don't comprehend the horror/magic of scripts.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 23. mar. 2022 kl. 9:36
@mrfreasyt It works in vanilla. You just need to put on vanilla wepaons.
mrfreasyt 8. mar. 2022 kl. 12:55
Make a vanilla design too, WF2 can be used to do so.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 19. sep. 2021 kl. 2:05
Thank you!
DKMASTERCTB 16. sep. 2021 kl. 5:11
Ok, this is really cool. Well done
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 6. aug. 2021 kl. 3:18
Thank you for letting me know!
HanSolo1519 5. aug. 2021 kl. 20:33
I can confirm that it worked flawlessly without dlc, Amazing work on the walker!
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 28. juli 2021 kl. 10:10
Thanks. It is pretty slow, just a few m/s.
Six 26. juli 2021 kl. 15:20
Looks quite nice. Could you make a short video showing speed ranges?
HanSolo1519 20. juli 2021 kl. 9:31
Oh, alright, I'll try it. I was under the assumption that workshop submissions couldn't be subscribed to without the prerequisite dlc, but apparently blueprints are an exception.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 17. juli 2021 kl. 17:24
Thank you. The DLC blocks are mostly just used for decoration. Everything essential is vanilla, so it should work and walk without them. Though the cockpit seat might be a dlc block ... i'm not really sure to be honest. Did you try it?
HanSolo1519 17. juli 2021 kl. 1:09
Looks *really* good! Does there exist a version that does not use DLC blocks?
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 5. juli 2021 kl. 8:52
Trust me i know how that feels. Recently i started from scratch with my AT-AT ... and yeah in vanilla it just isn't going to work. Too big, too heavy. I bought space engineers when it came out in 2013 .... and some problems are still not solved. Pistons and Rotors came into the game later, but still they are way to wobbly and freaking imprecise after all those years. I'm kinda fed up with it by now. I build in From the Depths now. There are pretty much no limits to what you can build and the stuff you build really has a purpose in campaign.
Darrel 4. juli 2021 kl. 8:55
it seems the only way to get it working is to use a mod that buffs the Rotor strength...but i like stuff vanilla.
Darrel 4. juli 2021 kl. 8:54
Yeah, i didnd manage to get it working :( ive got so hyped for those walkers again since they got some good screen time in the new Bad Batch episode.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2021 kl. 3:29
Yeah, the rotors are only used as hinges. They are way too weak to move the legs on their own. And they start to act up when they try to push against too much weight. To the point where the legs just explode. This is kinda like real physics, so leverage is a thing. A force applied to the center of the hinge is just not strong enough. I wish you good luck with getting it to work, but i still don't think its possible. At least not in a way reliable enough to be uploaded.
Darrel 3. juli 2021 kl. 6:08
as far as i can tell, the legs are only propelled by the pistons and hinges, while the rotors just function as links. while pistons can pull a lot of weight, the loose rotors cant, i tried creating a pattern to auto-lock the rotors when the leg hits the ground, and at the same time activating the Landing gears... but since im not good at fine tuning or generally working carefully ive already spent about 8 hours on this, with the rest of the weekend still ahead.
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 3. juli 2021 kl. 4:25
Thanks Mate. Well in theory it is possible, yes. I have a prototype that only works at 0.2g. But Space Engineers is just not precise enough and still way too unstable for getting it to work at 1g. Pulling that kind of weight upwards would make the legs go crazy for sure. If they even have enough power, that is. I recently had a hard time to get my AT-AT to work properly, to the point were i'm just fed up with Space Engineers. Its physics engine just isn't made for stuff like this.
Darrel 2. juli 2021 kl. 12:40
Great work, do you think its possible to make it walk up slopes? im messing arround with Landing gears and small wheels on its legs for hours now, but im not coming any further...
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 13. maj 2021 kl. 7:11
I have in old AT-OT in my workshop ... doesn't work that good anymore, though. And i'm currently building an AT-AT ... but i'm not sure if it ever will work properly. So yeah ... maybe.
ExIcotionCore 11. maj 2021 kl. 5:33
Really nice workshop vehicle, well done man. Do you plan to make maybe other Walkers like AT-ST,AT-AP etc ?
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2021 kl. 8:51
Well thank you very much. You have quite the creative talent yourself.
The problem with it is that i used an exploit for the hull of the AT-AT which doesn't work anymore. When i load it today everything just explodes. I can't make any promises, but i planned to have a look at it right after this one here is done. Which it is now. I will take it apart, update the mechanics and look for a way to angle the hull sides just like they should be. I don't know if i can make it work the way i want to. But i will defenitely try. I will let you know.
sauron2012 30. apr. 2021 kl. 2:25
Glad to see my favourite walker on workshop got update! I have one question, are you still plan to upload Chad AT-AT you made many years ago? :3
D3LT4-07  [ophavsmand] 29. apr. 2021 kl. 16:59
Thank you. I really hope you all have fun with it!
