probably because of some particle effect when shooting, if it doesn't affect both mods , no problem i guess.

From what I tested nothing bad happens to either
I just find it strange that a small model change to the shovel has this effect of the files conflicting

Maybe because of the sounds or a similar material name or even a same addoninfo.text word , if it doesn't affect visually both mods , should be fine.

it's a hud , it will stays that way on first person and third person, it's more meant for 3rdperson since your character won't overlap the numbers that way.
